The Fire Is Lit
Today marks an important milestone for Contusion Records.
After months of writing, producing, and shaping the sound behind the scenes, CopperWolf’s debut album Forged has officially arrived on streaming platforms worldwide.
For us, this release represents more than just a collection of songs. It’s the first chapter of the sonic world we’ve been developing — a moment where ideas that once lived in notebooks, demos, and late-night creative sessions finally step out into the open.
Built From the Ground Up
Forged didn’t appear overnight. Like its name suggests, the album took shape gradually — through experimentation, revision, and a lot of creative persistence.
Every track went through multiple phases of development until it carried the tone, atmosphere, and emotional weight it needed. The goal from the beginning was simple: create something honest, powerful, and memorable.
Independent music has always been about this kind of process — artists taking the time to shape their sound rather than rushing it into the world. We gave this project room to incubate until the sound fit the persona it was meant to carry.
A New Chapter for Contusion Records
As the first full album released under the Contusion Records banner, Forged represents a major step forward for our studio. It marks the moment when the work happening behind the scenes begins to reach listeners for the first time. And we think that’s really cool.
The release also signals the beginning of something larger. More music, more stories, and more creative projects are already taking shape inside the Contusion studio.
